Bank holiday weekends always throw up an exciting outfit opportunity - you have a whole extra day in which you're not dressing for work, nor are you recovering from a week of outfit planning. Add to that at least one fun day planned, it's probably you want to make the most of this opportunity & dress for the occasion.
This weekend, I'll be wearing this lovely yet simple peplum top from Mango (provided I can fit in a lunch-hour shopping trip tomorrow). Peplums are big news for AW12, & this is an easy way to get into the trend as the simple black colour & flattering length sleeves let that waisted shape do the talking.
I'll be wearing mine with skinnies and (of course), my trusty KG by Kurt Geiger Winston ankle boots (it's forecast for rain..AGAIN) for a Sunday afternoon bridesmaid dress brainstorm session & shopping trip.
For night-time (and maximum impact) pair with a killer pencil skirt - black would look super-hot, but don't forget Neon & Pastels are big news for summer too. Final way to wear - I'm desperate to find the perfect pair of printed trousers to team with this bad boy.
